Garzón defends that Podemos and Errejón share campaign events in Andalusia

The federal coordinator of IU, Alberto Garzón, has affirmed that it would be "wonderful" to share the electoral campaign in Andalusia with the leader of Más País, Íñigo Errejón, and the different leaders of United We Can and has claimed that the challenge of these elections requires being " above any internal issue".

In statements to RNE, collected by Europa Press, the also Minister of Consumer Affairs has explained that he will take part in a dozen events to support the 'Por Andalucía' coalition and that, as an Andalusian, he feels especially concerned in supporting the acts of this candidacy of unit.

Therefore, he wanted to be on the same stage with Errejón and the ministers of the confederal space Yolanda Díaz, Ione Belarra or Irene Montero because the left has an "important challenge" in these elections.

The second vice-president will participate in two central events of the Andalusian election campaign to support the coalition's candidate, Inmaculada Nieto, in Córdoba and Seville.

Precisely on the 14th in the Sevillian town of Dos Hermanas, the head of Labor will share the poster with Belarra (with whom she will also coincide in Córdoba on the 11th), Irene Montero and Garzón himself, waiting for the events of the leader of More Country.

The design of the Andalusian campaign symbolizes an image of unity after the tensions that arose from the uneven record of the coalition, after a political agreement 'in extremis' before the term ended and in which finally neither Podemos nor Alianza Verde officially appeared, although their representatives concur in the lists of 'Por Andalucía'.
