Gamarra accuses Sánchez of "imposing" his energy plan and then getting on the Falcon: "The only selfish one is him"

JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA, Aug. 4 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has harshly charged this Wednesday against the chief executive, Pedro Sánchez, for "imposing" an energy saving plan without dialogue and asking for "sacrifices" from people with air conditioning or heating, but then go up to the Falcón and continue maintaining "22 ministries and 800 advisers."

"Here the only selfish person is the one who continues to spend as if nothing were happening and continues to demand sacrifices while he does not make any. That is the definition of selfishness by nature and it has a name in this country: Pedro Sánchez," Gamarra proclaimed, after that Sánchez asked on Monday to flee from "selfish, unsupportive and unilateral" approaches after Isabel Díaz Ayuso's rejection of his decree with measures to save energy.

In an act in Jerez de la Frontera, Gamarra has blamed Sánchez for asking citizens to lower the heating, reduce the air conditioning and turn off the lights and, "then day after day" he is "riding the helicopter or the Falcon wasting fuel". "This is pure inconsistency. That really is selfishness with all the letters," he asserted.

After accusing the Executive of "imposing conditions on everyone", he recalled the energy saving measures presented by Alberto Núñez Feijóo and stated that Sánchez "is in time to rectify" and "agree on a plan that no one likes, that it upsets everyone and keeps them absolutely freaked out."

The 'number two' of the PP has insisted that solutions must be agreed upon with municipalities and communities, but Sánchez chooses to act "by royal decree law." "This makes us understand the anger of city councils and communities because when things are imposed on people, they obviously rebel and say there is another way to do it," he said.

In addition, he has highlighted that the "acme of impudence" is that the Government, which "pardons" those convicted of the 'procés' and "does not urge compliance with the law in Catalonia" with Castilian, comes to give "lessons" the PP to comply with the law "to those who have never broken it".

Gamarra made these statements at a ceremony together with the general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, held in a winery in Jerez de la Frontera, in which the president of the local PP and national deputy, María José García Pelayo, and the president of the provincial PP, Bruno García León.
