"The goal was to be in the top ten and we achieved it with some slack in Q2. Being fifth and sixth is a great result," the Spaniard applauded in statements to Dazn.

The Spaniard had to settle for sixth place after a somewhat discreet Q3, surpassed by his teammates, Esteban Ocon, although ahead of Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
