Defense announces 17 places of direct access and internal promotion to the Military Health Corps

The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published this Saturday the call for a contest-opposition for direct access and internal promotion to the Military Health Corps, Officer Scale, Fundamental Medicine Specialty, in the modalities of qualified doctors without specialty and of doctors graduates with specialty.

Of the places offered, fifteen are for qualified doctors without a specialty, of which one is for internal promotion, from the Nursing Officers Scale, and another for complementary soldiers.

Likewise, two places have been announced for qualified doctors with a specialty.

The admission period will be 10 calendar days from the day following the date of publication in the BOE.

After passing the selection process, the candidates proposed to enter as students will make their presentation on October 17 at the General Military Academy (Zaragoza), where they will carry out the initial phase of their military training.

Later, at the Central Academy of Defense (Madrid) they will continue with the Study Plan for Medical Officers of the Military Health Corps and will be, at the end of the school year, promoted to the position of lieutenant.
