Bolaños rejects lessons from the PP after 'Mediator' and asks Feijóo for "the same exemplarity" as the PSOE with Tito Berni

The Minister of the Presidency and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, has referred to the 'Mediator' case, highlighting how the PSOE "has put those involved out on the street in hours", a way of acting that The PP, has considered, cannot presume, alluding to other cases in which the 'popular' have not reacted in the same way, such as after the request for 15 years in prison by the Prosecutor's Office for the former minister Jorge Fernández Díaz for the 'Kitchen case'.

This has been revealed during a conversation with the journalist Esther Esteban at the II Spanish Economic Forum of Castilla-La Mancha organized in Toledo by El Español-El Digital de Castilla-La Mancha, where it has abounded that he is "disgusted" with everything known in the 'Mediator' case, perpetrated by people who "do not represent socialist values".

Abounding in criticism of the PP for not acting in the same way as the PSOE with cases of corruption, he also recalled that the leader of the PP himself, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, "shares a bench with a senator with a dubious enrichment of 12 million euros ", alluding to the mayoress of Marbella.

"I would like the PP, in that necessity and obligation that citizens ask us to be exemplary, to act in these cases. Lessons, zero," he concluded.

In another order of things, Bolaños has charged against the announced position of the PP to abstain in the motion of censure presented by Vox with Ramón Tamames as a candidate.

"I would like, as happened a year and a half ago with Pablo Casado, that they vote against. Spain is a great democracy and the extreme right can only bring evil to our country," he indicated.

For this reason, he has asked the PP if "it doesn't matter" a government that raises the SMI to one that abolishes it, or a government that improves pensions to another that wants to end them.

In any case, he has shown "all his respect" to the figure of Tamames. "I will not be able to criticize him, although he has made the decision to be a candidate in a motion supported by the extreme right."

Alluding to the polls, he has asserted that "when the polls open, the PSOE wins and Sánchez wins" thanks to "an undoubted roadmap", which involves having made Spain "advance" despite the pandemic. "Imagine what would happen with the wind in favor. The Spanish will appreciate that."

LOOKING FOR SUPPORT TO CHANGE THE LAW OF 'ONLY YES IS YES'

Asked about the work to achieve the reform of the 'only yes is yes' law, he confirmed that PSOE and Unidas Podemos are "in fundamental agreement, which is that it is necessary to reform so as not to allow the reduction of sentences for aggressors" .

From there, "you have to look for a technical formulation", but the will of the PSOE is that a sentence is not lowered again.

"And if it is necessary to reform, we will reform. We will seek support within the parliamentary process, which is what we usually do. We will talk to everyone to try to find a point of balance and reformulate the law," he added.

THE LEGISLATURE WILL BE SOLD OUT

Asked if the Government will endure the entire legislature, he has assured that it will run out, and taking advantage of the current Presidency of the European Union in the second semester, he will show the "example of leadership of Pedro Sánchez and the weight of Spain" .

Thus, he stressed that Spain has led "the solution" in energy matters to lower the electricity bill or the management of European funds, examples that he has used to justify the country's role in the international context.

A job to which the legislative productivity of this government has been added, with "more than 200 laws, at the rate of absolute majority", and all this despite "a complex situation" due to the health pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

THE "VEHEMENCE" DRIVES AWAY POLITICS

In another order of things, he has referred to the decibels of the current political debate, admitting that sometimes "it is debated vehemently", something that sometimes causes the citizen to "move away from politics".

In his opinion, this lack of respect "qualifies" those who carry it out, although he is sorry that politics is moving away from its main function.

He has referred at this point to the reflection enunciated by the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, when speaking of "good people". "Good people are the ones who raise their salaries, who maintain the ERTEs so that the activity is maintained in the worst moments", for which he considers that he himself is part of those "good people".

PEDRO J. RAMÍREZ, HOST

This talk has been circumscribed in an act promoted by El Español in Toledo, an act that has begun with the intervention of the director of El Español, Pedro J. Ramírez, who has valued the role of Castilla-La Mancha, "the community autonomous region with more kilometers of highway, of AVE laying, in which renewable energies support a higher percentage in the energy mix".

He has talked about El Digital de Castilla-La Mancha and its alliance with El Español for two years, becoming one of the most widely read thanks to "a synergy" between both media that provides "a platform for expressing the interests" of the own region.

The director has also made reference to the current political and economic situation, proposing that the atrium of power lies in "public-private collaboration", forming the space "where the PERTEs are developed, projects financed with European funds that have to be the seed so that private investment can multiply its results".

"I feel especially honored with the presence of Minister Bolaños, Political Vice President of the Government, battering ram of political confrontation, a man with a great capacity to forge consensus and who during this legislature has tried to do so on very important occasions. At some point he will occupy a leading position in one of those State pacts that is yet to come and that Spain needs so much", he indicated.

He has also had words for the regional PSOE, "the party that most resembles Castilla-La Mancha", showing his desire that this spirit be seen in Spain. "I do not ask for the vote for the PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha, but I do ask for the vote for a Spain that resembles Castilla-La Mancha."

ESTHER ESTEBAN: "WE ARE THE VOICE OF A FREE JOURNALISM"

The director of El Digital de Castilla-La Mancha, Esther Esteban, has indicated for her part at the inauguration of this act that with this second forum one of the commitments acquired when signing the alliance with El Español is once again fulfilled.

Since 2006, when this communication initiative emerged, the commitment to "be the voice and word of free, independent journalism, in defense of the interests of Castilla-La Mancha and Toledo" has been maintained.

With 17 years of age, it was the first digital media in the Castilian-Lamancha sphere, and now thanks to all its readers it has become "absolute leaders in many parameters", surpassing its best figures in January.

Now, he considers that the "marriage" with El Español works, although it is "discussed sometimes"; adding that what has happened with El Español "will appear in journalism books."

"Everything that Pedro J. has undertaken has been a success story", considered the journalist from Toledo, who has shown her "autonomous and local vocation" that she intends to "continue" betting on the land.
