Banca March closes the first half with 2,565 million assets under delegated management, 7% more

The volume of assets under delegated management (discretionary management of portfolios and delegated funds) of Banca March stood at 2,565 million euros at the end of June, a figure that represents an increase of 7% compared to the same period of 2021, as reported by through a statement from the entity.

The bank points out that this growth shows "the confidence" of its clients, "despite the instability that the markets have been experiencing since the start of the war in Ukraine and the inflationary pressures triggered by the energy crisis."

Specifically, assets in discretionary portfolio management (GDC) grew by nearly 3% compared to June last year, to exceed 1,750 million euros. The greatest increase in equity was recorded in the decided portfolio (59%), followed by the defensive (26%), the moderate (16%) and the conservative (10%). At the end of June, Banca March added 6,400 contracts in this form of wealth management.

For its part, equity in delegated funds at the end of the first half stood at 815 million euros, 15% more than at the end of June last year.

The bank also highlights that the set of alternative investments that it managed at the end of June accumulated assets amounting to 453 million euros.

In addition, the sustainable and responsible investment (ISR) and impact modalities registered a growth of 11.5% in managed assets at the end of last June, reaching 137 million euros. The figure includes the latest addition to this group: the fixed income fund March Green Transition Bond.
