ATA hopes that the Andalusian Strategic Plan includes adequate financing for the self-employed

SEVILLA, 7 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The group of self-employed in Andalusia has requested that the Strategic Plan for Self-Employment, announced by the President of the Board, Juanma Moreno, in his investiture speech, contemplate adequate financing, as well as an ecosystem where it is "easy" to undertake and generate employment and activity.

This has been stated by the president of the Association of Self-Employed Workers (ATA) and vice president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (Ceoe), Lorenzo Amor, in an interview with Europa Press.

"The important thing in this plan, first of all, is that the self-employed have to be allies of Andalusia, they have to be allies of the citizens and the Government," Amor pointed out, asking that "Andalusian businessmen not be stigmatized ", above all, after showing "such an important level of commitment" in recent years.

Likewise, he has demanded that this plan provide for the elimination of obstacles and "everything that prevents a self-employed person from starting an activity on their own account." Likewise, he hopes that it will include adequate protection and an appropriate fiscal system.

In this area, he pointed out that "Andalusia has shown that, with fewer taxes, more can be collected", and, on this point, he welcomed the Board's decision to deflate the personal income tax rate. In connection with this issue, he has criticized the Government for not having done so as well, since, in his opinion, it means "repaying the citizens for the effort they are making at a time of high inflation".

Finally, it has opted for this plan to also include digitization in the business sphere and support emerging sectors of the new economy.

After reflecting on the tools that this new plan should include, Amor has indicated that the negotiation, in which they hope to participate, will be with the Minister of Employment, Business and Self-Employed Workers, Rocío Blanco, who continues in office for one more legislature.

"That the president of the Board, Juanma Moreno, has trusted Rocío Blanco again, I think it is good news. We have worked very well during the previous legislature because there is a lot of dialogue, something that is bearing fruit."

She has even indicated that, with her at the head of this department, more aid has been managed for the self-employed than "in the history of autonomy". "The fact that Rocío Blanco continues means that she is going to continue betting on this policy of self-employment and job creation", she concluded.
