He affirms that in a few years what Pedro Sánchez has done "for Catalonia and for Spain" with the Amnesty Law will be celebrated

The former President of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has stated that, in a few years, what the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has done "for Catalonia and for Spain" will be celebrated, after being approved this week by the Justice Commission of the Congress the Amnesty Law project.

Zapatero has shown his "unconditional" support for the PSOE and has assured that today, 20 years later, he "marries again" with the Socialist Party. He has also supported Sánchez and has referred to the criticism he receives for his policies on Catalonia.

"Just like they reproached me, they criticized me, they tried to boycott me from the search for coexistence, peace, the appreciation of dialogue, of the word, of conviction, of the love of goodness," he indicated.

Likewise, he highlighted that now the President of the Government is being attacked for "the effort he is making in Catalonia." "But, attention, Santos (he said, addressing Santos Cerdán, Secretary of Organization of the PSOE), we will convene an event here in three or four years to be able to celebrate what Pedro Sánchez is going to do in Catalonia and for Catalonia and for Spain ", he assured, to ask for support from Pedro Sánchez, "as you have supported me."
