Yolanda Díaz calls on her ranks to "debate head-on" with Vox after the controversy of the Sumar candidate for Seville

MADRID, 13 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Sumar candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, has called on her ranks to "debate head-on" with Vox after the controversy carried out by the head of the Sumar list to Congress for Seville, Francisco Sierra, who for a electoral debate on Canal Sur turned his back on the Vox candidate every time she intervened.

"I know that there are people who are very outraged in Spain because (Vox) is a racist formation, which tramples on women's rights, which objectifies us and who want to return to the worst in our country, but I also say that we must discuss and present the project", explained the leader of Sumar in an interview with Antena 3, collected by Europa Press.

The also Minister of Labor has explained that although the formation of Santiago Abascal "is outside the Spanish Constitution" and outside "international legality", "we must look at them squarely."

In this sense, the leader of Sumar has recalled her control sessions in Congress with the former leader of Vox Macarena Olona or with other PP deputies. "I think you have to debate head-on with political models that are substantially different," she added.

It has also brought to the present the canvas deployed on Wednesday by Vox in Madrid against the Law of 'only yes is yes' and in which the Government is accused of having put "hundreds of monsters" on the street.

"A person who is concerned about sexual assaults in our country does not treat them that way (...) therefore, no matter how much indignation we have, discussions head-on and clearly so that people know what is happening," he recommended. .

Díaz's statements take place after during a debate on Canal Sur, the 'number one' of Sumar al Congreso for the province of Seville, Francisco Sierra, turned his back and ignored the leader of Vox Rocío de Meer every time he intervened.
