Yolanda Díaz affirms that PP and Vox are "campaigning throughout Spain against Catalonia"

Reiterates Sumar's commitment to the reform of working hours and the rise of the SMI

CORNELLÀ DE LLOBREGAT (BARCELONA), 25 (EUROPA PRESS)

The second vice president of the Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, has affirmed that PP and Vox are carrying out a "campaign throughout Spain against Catalonia".

He said this this Sunday in an act of Summar-En Comú Podem in the neighborhood of Sant Ildefons in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona) which brought together around 300 people, among them number 1 for Barcelona, Aina Vidal; number 2, Gerardo Pisarello, and number 6, Candela López.

Díaz has claimed a country where Catalan, Galician and Basque can be spoken, and added: "Spain is much more than what the coalition of no to Catalonia wants to sell us."

"If Catalonia stands up, if you mobilize, without a doubt the vote will be decisive, not to win these elections, but to win throughout the next decade," he defended.

"INSUFFICIENT" SALARY

He has ensured that these elections "are about the shopping basket, about the mortgage, about people who cannot pay the rent", and he has supported his proposal to give a check for 1,000 euros to those affected by the rise. of the Euribor.

For this reason, he has reiterated that from Sumar they are going to work to raise the Minimum Interprofessional Wage (SMI) more because in Spain there is "a negative differential of 25 points with European average wages."

She has also recalled her commitment to reduce working hours, a measure that she sees as "absolutely necessary" and which, according to her, has been shown to boost the productivity of a country.

"THE RIGHTS ARE NOT GOING TO WIN THE ELECTIONS"

He has assured that "the right-wing will not win the elections in our country", and that from Sumar they will do their homework because they have already shown that they can improve people's lives, in his words.

Taking advantage of the presence of the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, at a party event in Castilla y León, Díaz lamented that since the formation they have "suppressed the mediation service, they have suppressed social dialogue in Castilla y León, and this is its program for the rest of Spain".

The also Minister of Labor and Social Economy has indicated that the useful policy is "not to make noise, it is to arrive at the Ministry knowing that you are going to defend your people."

HE POINTS OUT THAT RAISES IN RATE WILL INCLUDE CUTS

Díaz pointed out that "anyone who is defending today the rate hike that the European Central Bank (ECB) is deploying has to make it clear to society that this is going to mean cuts in education and healthcare for our people".

Before beginning the act, Díaz has gone out to greet with Vidal the hundreds of people who have not been able to enter the auditorium, whom he has asked to mobilize: "This campaign is about your lives," he told them.
