Vox will assume the First Vice Presidency of the Generalitat, which will also have the powers of the Ministry of Culture and will be headed by the bullfighter Vicente Barrera, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Justice, Interior and the Interior, within the government agreement with the PPCV to govern the Valencian Community.

This has been agreed by the negotiating teams of the two parties in a government pact with 50 points, as reported this Thursday in a joint statement in which they do not detail the rest of the portfolios or powers that will correspond to the PP.

PP and Vox undertake to provide the Valencian Community with a "stable and strong" government that defends the interests of citizens and guarantees that the five basic lines agreed upon and announced by both formations are met, "in order to preserve freedom, economic development, the protection of public health and social services, the defense of one's identity and the protection of families".

Both formations subscribe to "the need to ensure a government of change in the Valencian Community" and recognize "the mutual generosity of the two actors in the negotiation process", thanking the work carried out by the teams, which "have collected and reflected the needs of the citizen".

From there, Vox guarantees that it will support, in the first vote to be held in the investiture plenary session in Les Corts, the candidacy presented by the leader of the PPCV, Carlos Mazón, as president of the Generalitat Valenciana, and will desist from presenting a candidate alternative in order to guarantee the correct holding of the session.

The agreement comes after regional elections in which the PPCV was the force with the most votes with 35.37 percent of the votes and 40 deputies, while Vox achieved 12.41% of support and 13 seats. The two parties thus add up to a sufficient majority of 50 parliamentarians for the investiture of the future 'president' of the Generalitat.

Specifically, the government pact consists of 50 points in which they announce some of the measures that they intend to develop in the areas of 'Freedom', 'Economy, 'Rural world, Water and Heritage', 'Reduction of political spending', ' Education and Language', 'Health', 'Infrastructures' and 'Security'.

At the moment, PP and Vox have not announced the rest of the areas in which the future Council will be structured, although Mazón has glimpsed during the electoral campaign and in recent days that he intends to set a maximum of nine councils together with the Presidency. He has also insisted that what is important is the government program and not the distribution of "armchairs" or the "quinieleo".

This Thursday, the future 'president' has assured that the creation of a Ministry of Family is "not on the table" and has reiterated that "what there is is a great reduction of advisers".

Mazón has defended that "it is not always important to have a ministry as such" to manage an area and has criticized the management of the Ministry of Housing of the previous Botànic government. In addition, he has guaranteed that Vox is "very clear" that it will occupy "13 deputies and not 50", since he has recalled that "whoever has 40 is the PP".
