Ukraine figures at more than 185,000 Russian soldiers "liquidated" in combat

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have raised this Friday to more than 185,000 the total Russian military "liquidated" since the start of the invasion, unleashed on February 24, 2022 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a time when the that the fighting is centered around the city of Bakhmut, in the province of Donetsk (east).

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a message published on its official account on the Facebook social network that to date 185,050 Russian soldiers have been "liquidated" and has specified that 630 Russian soldiers have died in the last few hours.

Thus, he stressed that so far 3,668 battle tanks, 2,827 artillery systems, 285 anti-aircraft defense systems, 308 planes, 293 helicopters, 2,394 drones, 911 cruise missiles, 18 boats, 5,713 vehicles and fuel tanks and 334 pieces of "special equipment".

"The data is being updated. Hit the occupier. Let's win together. Our strength is in the truth," stressed the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army in its statement, which it has published daily since the start of the war.

Russia has not provided data on casualties in the conflict since September, when Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu confirmed the deaths of 5,937 soldiers. The Russian news portal Mediazona raises the total number of deaths to 19,688 -including 1,665 during the last 15 days-, figures that it considers "corroborated" through publicly available data, a work carried out together with the British television channel BBC.
