Trump affirms that this Tuesday he will be accused of 33 charges

MADRID, 4 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The former president of the United States Donald Trump has assured that the district attorney of Manhattan Alvin Bragg, in charge of his imputation, will accuse him this Tuesday of a total of 33 charges.

Trump has pointed out that the prosecutor has "illegally leaked the 33 points of the accusation", which he has described as "pathetic", according to a series of messages published on his social network Truth Social.

The former president has charged again against Bragg, whom he has proposed to accuse himself "if he really wants to clean up his reputation." "Bragg should resign already", he has reiterated himself.

Likewise, he has indicated that "there are no changes or surprises" regarding the accusations of which the prosecutor directly informed the grand jury, and has stressed that "there is no crime" on his part.

In the last hours, Trump has arrived in New York, where this Tuesday he is scheduled to appear before a court in Manhattan regarding the case of alleged bribery of the porn actress Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels.

Trump was indicted on Thursday for the possible secret payment of $130,000 (more than 120,000 euros) to Clifford by former president Michael Cohen's former lawyer. Trump has thus become the first former US president to be charged, which could end his aspirations to return to the White House in the elections scheduled for 2024.

The former president published a statement after his impeachment in which he denounced "political persecution and electoral interference." "This has never been done before in the history of our nation," he reproached, while accusing "the Democrats of the radical left" of "a witch hunt to destroy the 'Make America Great Again' movement" and He stressed that he is "a completely innocent person."
