Thousands of Grenadians have taken to the streets this Saturday to support the more than 3,000 soldiers who participate in the Armed Forces Day parade presided over by the Kings, who have been received with cheers and applause from the public.

The military parade, which is held every year in a different point of the national geography coinciding with the festival of San Fernando, will cover 1.3 kilometers from the center of Granada this Saturday. Citizens have crowded the route since early in the morning accompanied by flags of Spain, which also hang on the nearest balconies.

The King and Queen arrived by car at 12:00 noon at the Albert Einstein square in the Andalusian city, where the royal tribune is located, and there they have been received by the authorities: the Defense Minister, Margarita Robles; the Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral General Teodoro López Calderón; the president of Andalusia, Juan Moreno; and the acting mayor, Francisco Cuenca.
