The ship with 16,000 cows intervened by the National Court leaves San Roque (Cádiz) after completing the registration

SAN ROQUE (CADIZ), June 23 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The ship 'Mawashi Express', which was docked in San Roque (Cádiz) after being intervened by the National Court when it was traveling from Cartagena (Colombia) bound for the port of Said (Egypt), has left the port of San Roque this morning once the search to which he was being submitted was completed, according to what port sources have indicated to Europa Press.

As they have explained, once the Police communicated that the search had been completed, port procedures began so that the ship could leave San Roque and continue towards its destination.

The ship had been intervened in the framework of an investigation under summary secrecy directed by the Central Court of Instruction Number 6 of the National Court and in which the Anti-Drug Prosecutor's Office also participates.

It should be remembered that the docking of the ship in San Roque aroused criticism from the mayor of the town, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, who thinks that "the logical thing would have been for the ship to be taken to Algeciras."

A question that was answered by the Algeciras Bay Port Authority (APBA), which has ensured that it has "limited itself to complying with a court order" on the ship that "in no case planned to call at the Port of Algeciras", as well as that the actions and decisions taken in the last hours, "with the prudence that corresponds to the case, are a work coordinated by public bodies of the competent administrations in the matter, that is, the ministries of Justice, Interior, Defense and Transport ".
