The recount of the Barcelona municipal vote keeps Collboni second and Colau third

BARCELONA, 2 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The final count of votes in the municipal elections carried out by the Barcelona Area Electoral Board has kept Jaume Collboni (PSC) second and Ada Colau (BComú) third, without changing the positions in which they remained after the elections.

After the scrutiny, the PSC has been left with 131,923 votes, that is, it has obtained 188 more votes compared to the 131,735 votes it had, knowledgeable sources have informed Europa Press.

The communes have been left with 131,581 votes, which is 13 fewer than the 131,594 they had up to now.

As reported by sources from the Barcelona Zone Electoral Board to Europa Press, after the scrutiny, the minutes are drawn up and the results are sent to the Central Electoral Board (JEC) in Madrid.

This definitive scrutiny was key given that the difference in votes between Socialists and Comuns was 141 votes (second and third respectively), although in the end they have remained in the same positions and the difference has also widened, with 342 more votes Collboni against Colau .

The parties will have 24 hours from this Friday to "check whether the amendments" that they have made to the material errors detected have been correctly collected, and in the event that they cannot decide whether to request any clarification, sources from the communes have explained.
