The general coordinator of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has been confident that Vox will finally end up expressing its support for a possible investiture of the 'popular' leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, despite leaving it up in the air, referring to the post-election statement in which those of Santiago Abascal spoke of a predisposition to facilitate governability even without entering the Executive.

"For us it is still valid," Elías Bendodo defended in an interview on RNE, collected by Europa Press, when asked about the position expressed this Monday by the general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, of making his party's support conditional on the 'populares' gave explanations about the vote of the Congress Table.

In this context, Bendodo has indicated that in 'Génova' they trust "not only in the given word", but also in the statements issued by Santiago Abascal's formation after the elections in which he assured that he would not oppose a government of Alberto Núñez Feijóo alone.

"Vox usually keeps the words it gives, it usually keeps its commitments and therefore we are convinced that there are no reasons for it not to be fulfilled now, at the key moment that is the moment of truth when one has to say which candidate they support. ", Bendodo pointed out, just before King Felipe VI first received Santiago Abascal, to then meet Pedro Sánchez and Feijóo himself.

And it is that Vox summoned the PP to give explanations about these votes of the Congress Table, suggesting a "sanitary cordon" to its formation, and hoped that it would clarify its position "urgently" and publicly before Abascal was seen with the King.

For this reason, the 'number three' of the PP has once again emphasized the intention of Alberto Núñez Feijóo to be able to go to an investiture, if the King so decides, defending that he is the candidate with the most support at present, insisting that, Together with Vox, it already has 172 votes, adding those of CC and UPN.

And he has put himself in opposition to the other candidate, the socialist Pedro Sánchez, suggesting that "now he is not in a hurry because the accounts are not coming out": "At most he can go with his 121 seats plus Sumar's 31".

For this reason, he has repeated that we are facing three possible scenarios, that of electoral repetition, a monocolor government of the PP or that Sánchez reissues his coalition Executive, something that, from his point of view, is "Plan B for Spain". .
