The National Police has arrested 14 people in different parts of Spain for the commission of alleged terrorism crimes, in an operation coordinated by the judge of the National Court Joaquín Gadea, according to legal sources consulted by Europa Press.

Other sources explain that the arrests occur as a result of an operation that began in Barcelona, ​​and that they are related to an allegedly radicalized association of Pakistani origin. Some arrests would have occurred in Barcelona, ​​Badalona, ​​Hospitalet de Llobregat and Martorell.

Sources from the investigation have confirmed to Europa Press that within the framework of the operation opened by the General Information Commissariat of the National Police, 14 people have been arrested in different parts of Spain, two of them in the province of Valencia.

According to 'El Periódico', those arrested would be members of the political movement Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), a fundamentalist Pakistani movement whose main characteristic is that they incite people through social networks to who does not respect Muhammad be beheaded.

Those detained would advocate the implementation of sharia, Islamic law, and are accused of spreading messages on applications such as TikTok in support of this political movement calling for violence.
