The King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Doña Letizia, and their daughters, the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía, took a walk this Monday afternoon through the Jardines de Alfabia, in Mallorca, where they held the first pose where it was possible to see the four of them together during their stay on the island.
The monarchs have arrived accompanied by their daughters, around 8:00 p.m., at the Jardines de Alfabia. Upon his arrival, the King responded to the media that he could have done better in this Monday's regatta, referring to the Copa del Rey MAPFRE sailing, which is taking place in the bay of Palma, "although it could also have gone worse," he added.
As for clothing, Queen Letizia has worn a pink midi dress, in the fashionable color of the season, along with flat white rope espadrilles. The Princess of Asturias has chosen a green midi dress and Infanta Sofía a short ethnic white dress, both with esparto wedges. For his part, King Felipe VI has opted for a white and light blue gradient shirt and white pants.
During the visit, the Infanta Sofía has highlighted the tranquility of the place and Queen Letizia has underlined how "impressive" the holm oaks in the garden were, which she has detailed that they are more than 400 years old.
At the end of the visit, the King stated that they liked the place "very much", that they did not know it and that they should have come before. "I'm surprised that he didn't come as a child," he said. For her part, the Queen has highlighted how well preserved the Gardens are after so many years. And, to end the visit, they have greeted the family that owns the house.
It should be remembered that, previously, the Jewish King attended the traditional reception of regional authorities in the Palacio de la Almudaina. For her part, the Queen presided this Sunday at the closing ceremony of the thirteenth edition of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest 2023 (AMFF), at the Centro Cultural de la Misericordia.
