The King delivers his message alongside a photo of Princess Leonor's swearing-in ceremony for the Constitution

King Felipe VI has once again chosen the Audience Hall of the Zarzuela Palace to deliver his traditional Christmas message alongside the flags of Spain and the European Union and, on this occasion, a photo of the moment in which the Kings and Infanta Sofía applauds the Princess of Asturias at the swearing-in ceremony of the Spanish Constitution before the Cortes Generales on October 31.

The King's traditional Christmas message had a total duration of 12 minutes and 59 seconds, and the text of the message contained 1,467 words.

In addition to the flags and the photo of the Princess's oath of the Constitution, to the right of the King we could see the mystery with the birth of the Child Jesus, the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph, from the private collection.

To the left of Felipe VI two books have been shown: 'The Prado Museum' and 'Masterpieces. Royal Collections', in addition to a Christmas tree and the walls of the Audience Hall have been decorated by two paintings from the National Heritage collection, common in this space.

As for the outfit, the monarch has chosen a navy blue suit, a white shirt with fine stripes and a tie with geometric motifs in blue tones.

The King's traditional Christmas message has been broadcast on all media in addition to YouTube on the official Casa Real channel. In addition, Casa Real has broadcast a video lasting one hour and 25 minutes, prior to the King's message on its official channel with different sequences of the activities of the Royal Family this year.

Likewise, in coherence with the multilanguage policy applied at Casa Real, the text of the message has been available in the different co-official languages ​​and in English. In addition, a simultaneous translation has been shown in the broadcast through TVE's 24 Hours Channel.

After the speech, which ended as usual by congratulating Christmas in the co-official Spanish languages, and on the National Anthem, images of the activities of the Royal Family together with citizens, in support of Spanish sport and on behalf of Spain abroad as the Princess of Asturias with citizens in the street after the swearing-in ceremony of the Spanish Constitution.

Also of Infanta Doña Sofía with Spanish sport, in the Final of the Women's Soccer World Cup at the Accord Stadium in Sydney (Australia); of the Queen with the families affected by the Tenerife fire; of the King with citizens in the street upon his arrival at the Monastery of Yuste for the delivery of the Charles V European Prize and, finally, of the Kings upon their departure from the Spanish Embassy in the United Kingdom on the occasion of the celebration of the Coronation of Charles III in London.
