MADRID, 3 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The member of the National Commission for Women of India (NCW) Mamta Kumari will soon meet with the Spanish tourist who was the victim of a gang rape last Friday in the Indian state of Jharkhand, in the northeast of the country, and has announced that will investigate the facts and will also hold a meeting with the police who are in charge of the investigations.

This was announced by the institution in a message on social networks in which it condemned the events and reported that, according to the investigation, there were between eight and ten men involved in the rape.

Likewise, the Jharkhand Police published this Sunday a photograph with three of the alleged men who raped the Spanish tourist wearing a black balaclava and in police custody.

For its part, the Indian Police confirmed this Sunday that there are already four detainees and that the seven accused of the rape have been identified and are in the process of being searched and captured by a special investigation team.

On the other hand, the Spanish Embassy in India, which is providing consular attention to the tourist, thanked this Sunday for the support received.
