The Ibex 35 fell 0.12% in the mid-session, reaching 10,056.10 points, in a day marked by the publication of business results where Grifols stands out, which has published its unaudited accounts and without the signature of one of his advisors.

Grifols published its annual accounts this Thursday, which show a profit of 59.3 million euros in 2023, which represents a decrease of 71.5% compared to the profits of 208.3 million recorded in the previous year. Revenues increased by 8.7%, to 6,592 million.

The accounts have not been signed by Jaime Costos, a member of the company's board of directors, as he was absent from the meeting of this management body for "personal reasons." However, the company has assured that Costos has not expressed "disagreement or opposition with the documentation sent", as stated in the company's annual report sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

The accounts are also not audited by KPMG, the company's auditor. Grifols has assured that the professional firm hopes to complete the audit process before March 8.

This same week, the president of the CNMV, Rodrigo Buenaventura, indicated that he had requested new clarifications from Grifols following the accusations made by the bearish fund Gotham, which is why his analysis of the information published by the Spanish listed company was going to be delayed for some time. weeks.

Apart from Grifols, Prosegur, Renta Corporación, Atresmedia, Tubacex, Fluidra, IAG, Dia, Deoleo, Sacyr, Técnicas Reunidas, Amper, Iberpapel, Ence and OHLA, among others, also presented their annual accounts this Thursday.

Likewise, it has been known that the CPI moderated in February by six tenths, to 2.8%, while experiencing a monthly advance of 0.3%.

In this way, Grifols was the value that led the falls on the Ibex 35, with a decline of 9.70% towards the mid-session. Behind them were Amadeus (-8.01%), Meliá (-2.76%), Solaria (-1.25%), Unicaja (-1.25%), ArcelorMittal (-1.04%) Telefónica ( -0.97%).

On the opposite side were Fluidra (4.58%), Indra (3.34%), Rovi (2.33%), Enagás (1.48%), Naturgy (1.46%) and Endesa (1.43). %).

The rest of the main European stock markets showed a positive evolution towards the mid-session, with London advancing 0.28%; Paris, 0.09%; Frankfurt, 0.52%; and Milan, 0.40%.

A barrel of Brent stood at $83.52, down 0.19%, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at $78.41, down 0.17%.

In the debt market, the yield on the Spanish bond maturing in 10 years stood at 3.373%, from 3.340% on Wednesday. In this way, the risk premium rose one tenth, to 88.2 basis points.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro remained stable against the dollar, until trading at an exchange rate of 1.0837 dollars for each unit of the community currency.
