The Ibex 35 says goodbye to 10,100 points after losing 0.4% in the session, despite the 'push' from Indra

The Ibex 35 has lost the level of 10,100 integers today, after falling 0.45%, and despite the 6.55% rise that Indra has seen today after presenting its 2023 results.

Specifically, this Wednesday's day is marked by the avalanche of annual results that various Spanish companies have published reporting their profits in 2023: Indra itself, which has reported a profit of 206 million euros, 19.8% more ; Aena (1,631 million, 80.9%); Amadeus (1,123 million, 60%); Redeia (690 million, 3.7%) or Endesa (742 million, -71%).

Others listed outside the Ibex have also reported their accounts: eDreams, which lost 4 million in the first nine months of its fiscal year, 88% less; o Metrovacesa, which recorded net losses of 20.3 million, 16% lower than the previous year. Grenergy earned 51.1 million, almost five times as much, while Audax quadrupled it, up to 31.4 million.

At the 'macro' level, the Bureau of Economic Analysis of the US Department of Commerce has today published its second estimate of the country's GDP in the fourth quarter, when the US economy registered an expansion of 0.8%, moderating four tenths compared to the 1.2% growth of the third quarter.

In annualized figures, US GDP between October and December grew by 3.2%, compared to 4.9% in the previous three months. The update of one tenth downwards with respect to the preliminary data was motivated by a review of the reading of private inventories that exceeded the higher spending of families and local and state administrations.

On the other hand, the economic sentiment indicator of the European Union has deteriorated in February for the first time in the last six months, according to data provided by the European Commission, which also shows a slight worsening in the case of the euro zone and from Spain.

In this context, the Ibex 35 stood at 10,068.6 points at the close and with only nine positive values: Indra (6.55%), Rovi (5.04%), Aena (1.21%), Santander (0.99%), Solaria (0.87%), Fluidra (0.66%), ACS (0.64%), Bankinter (0.58%) and Telefónica (0.47%).

On the other hand, the biggest falls have been those of Acciona (-3.79%), Cellnex (-3.52%), Merlin (-3.01%), Endesa (-2.84%), Colonial ( -2.31%), IAG (-2.16%), Accion Energía (-2.05%) and Redeia (-1.99%).

Regarding the rest of the main European markets, Frankfurt closed with an advance of 0.25% and Paris, with a rise of 0.08%, while London lost 0.76% in today's session and Milan, a 0.27%.

In the raw materials market, a barrel of Brent stood at $83.33, 0.38% less, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at $78.30, 0.72% less .

In the debt market, the yield on the Spanish bond maturing in 10 years stood at 3.335% in the mid-session, while the risk premium against German debt rose two tenths, to 89.4 basis points.

Regarding currencies, the euro depreciated 0.06% against the dollar, until trading at an exchange rate of 1.0838 'greenbacks' for each unit of the community currency.
