The Ibex 35 maintained towards the mid-session the 'rally' that intensified this week after knowing better than expected inflation data from the United States, so towards 12:00 p.m. of this Thursday's session it stood at 9,681.8 points, 0.43% more than at the close of Wednesday.

In the first minutes of the session, the selective has momentarily exceeded 9,700 points, close to the annual maximums that were recorded in the month of July.

After the takeover bid announced yesterday for Prosegur, this Thursday it was Talgo that shook the market by reporting that it had received "a preliminary expression of potential interest" from a Hungarian business group to present a takeover bid at 5 euros per share.

This has led to Talgo being the company that performed best in the entire continuous market towards the mid-session, with a stock market rally of 14.94%.

In the debt market, the Public Treasury has placed 4,349.01 million euros this Thursday in an auction of State bonds and obligations, in the expected medium-low range, and has raised the remuneration offered to investors for the debt to 20 years above 4.1%.

On a political level, the day is marked by the investiture debate of Pedro Sánchez, which resumed early in the morning in Congress with the intervention of Bildu spokesperson, Mertxe Aizpurua, and which will end around noon with the vote on the candidacy. from the socialist to the Presidency of the Government.

In this context, CaixaBank led the increases in the Ibex 35 with a rise of 1.62%, ahead of Naturgy (1.36%), Cellnex (1.31%), Iberdrola (1.30%), Banco Sabadell ( 1.22%), Redeia (1.01%) and Banco Santander (0.98%).

On the other hand, the worst performance of the selective towards the mid-session was that of Repsol (-1.08%), followed by Sacyr (-1.07%), Acciona Energías Renovables (-0.57%), ArcelorMittal (- 0.48%), IAG (-0.46%), Mapfre (-0.30%) and Inditex (-0.25%).

The good performance of the Spanish selective was shared by the Italian FTSE MIB, which rose 0.20% in the mid-session, and by the German DAX, which advanced 0.42%. On the other hand, the British FTSE 100 fell 0.48%, while the French CAC 40 fell 0.35%.

A barrel of Brent experienced a decrease of 0.12%, to $81.08, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at $76.52, 0.18% less.

The yield on the Spanish bond maturing in 10 years was 3.616% in the mid-session, below the 3.671% observed at the close of Wednesday. In this way, the risk premium against German debt was 100.4 basis points, just over two points below the previous figure.

In the currency market, the euro appreciated 0.1% against the dollar, reaching 1.0856 'greenbacks' for each unit of the community currency.
