The Ibex 35 falls 0.8% in the mid-session, with IAG leading the losses due to the conflict in the Middle East

The Ibex 35 fell 0.81% mid-session, which brought the index to 9,160 points around 1:20 p.m., in a day in which IAG is the protagonist, whose shares fell nearly 5% in full escalation of the conflict between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

Aside from the conflict, this Monday it was learned that Germany's industrial production recorded a fall of 0.2% last August compared to July, when it had fallen 0.6%, thus chaining four consecutive months of decline. .

Specifically, the biggest increases were recorded by Repsol (2.22%), Indra (1.52%), and Endesa (1.09%), while on the opposite side were IAG (-4.92%) , weighed down by the conflict in the Middle East, BBVA (-2.76%), Banco Sabadell (-2.27%) and Bankinter (-2.18%).

The main European stock markets were trading with a mixed trend: London rose 0.18%, while Frankfurt, Paris and Milan lost 0.72%, 0.48% and 0.38%, respectively.

On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, soared 3.54%, to 87.57 dollars, while Texas stood at 85.88 dollars, 3.54%. 73% more.

In the currency market, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0532 'greenbacks', while the Spanish risk premium was around 112.1 basis points, with the interest required on the 10-year bond at 4.019%.
