The Ibex 35 dawns with a rise of 0.44% and recovers 9,300 points, with the focus on the ECB meeting

The Ibex 35 has started the session this Tuesday with a rise of 0.44%, which has led the selective to 9,315.04 points, with investors awaiting the start of the traditional central banking forum held by the European Central Bank (BCE) in Sintra (Portugal), which will be inaugurated by the president of the organization, Christine Lagarde.

This banking forum, which will last until Wednesday, will include the participation of the member of the Executive Committee of the ECB, Fabio Panetta, and the German representative on the ECB's board of directors, Isabel Schnabel, while on the last day the President of the Federal Reserve of the United States (Fed), Jerome Powell, who will also attend an act of the Bank of Spain in Madrid this Thursday.

In addition, next Thursday the inflation data for Germany and Spain will be released, while on Friday the updated data for the United Kingdom's GDP in the first quarter, unemployment for Germany and inflation for the euro area as a whole will be published.

The Ibex 35 started the day above 9,300 points, highlighting the advances of CaixaBank (2.62%), ArcelorMittal (1.98%), Merlin Properties (1.39%) and Colonial (1.29%), while on the side of the decreases those of BBVA (-0.27%), Aena (-0.14%) and Ferrovial stood out, whose shares lost 0.04% in the early stages of the trading day.

The main European squares have also opened this Tuesday with a positive sign: 0.59% for Milan, 0.54% for Paris, 0.49% for London and 0.43% for Frankfurt.

In the raw materials market, the price of a barrel of Brent rose 0.62%, to 74.81 dollars, while the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose to 69.88 dollars, 0.74% more .

In the debt market, the yield on the 10-year Spanish bond stood at 3.290%, with the risk premium hovering around 95 basis points, while in the currency market, the euro was trading at 1.0938 Dollars.
