The Ibex 35 advances 0.48% in the half session and holds 9,300 points

The Ibex 35 advanced 0.48% in the mid-session this Tuesday, which brought the selective up to 9,318.5 points, with investors awaiting the central bank forum held in Sintra (Portugal) and where the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, has indicated this morning that she sees it as unlikely that the organism will announce in the short term that the rates have reached the peak.

This banking forum, which will last until Wednesday, will also include the participation of the ECB Executive Committee member Fabio Panetta and the German representative on the ECB board, Isabel Schnabel, while on the last day the president of the Federal Reserve of the United States (Fed), Jerome Powell, who will also attend an act of the Bank of Spain in Madrid this Thursday.

In addition, next Thursday the inflation data for Germany and Spain will be released, while on Friday the updated data for the United Kingdom's GDP in the first quarter, unemployment for Germany and inflation for the euro area as a whole will be published.

Within the Ibex 35, the advances of Banco Santander (2.87), Caixabank (2.51%), Solaria Energía (1.72%), Banco Sabadell (1.24), Bankinter (1.17) stood out in the mid-session. %) and Unicaja (1.04). At the opposite extreme, the most pronounced decreases were marked by Repsol (-1.11%), ArcelorMittal (-0.89%) and Acerinox (-0.82%).

The main European markets distanced themselves from Madrid's upward trend and opted for slight declines: London lost 0.05%, Paris 0.06% and Frankfurt 0.09%, while Milan entered the profits with an increase of 0.16%.

In the raw materials market, the price of a barrel of Brent lost 1.13%, up to 73.34 dollars, while the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell to 68.54%, 1.2% less .

In the debt market, the yield on the 10-year Spanish bond stood at 3.27%, with the risk premium around 96 basis points, while in the foreign exchange market, the euro was trading at 1 .0941 dollars, 0.3% more than at the close on Monday.
