The Brazilian Felipe Drugovich will accompany Fernando Alonso in the Bahrain tests

The Brazilian Felipe Drugovich, reserve driver for Aston Martin, will accompany the Spanish Fernando Alonso in the pre-season tests that will be held at the Sakhir track, in Bahrain, between February 23 and 25.

Drugovich, Formula 2 champion and who is a reserve driver together with the Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne, will replace the Canadian Lance Stroll, the other official driver of the English team and who will miss these tests prior to the start of the Formula 1 World Cup after suffering an untimely bicycle accident.

"Felipe Drugovich will attend the Bahrain test to share the driving tasks with Fernando Alonso. Felipe is scheduled to drive the 'AMR23' on Thursday morning and Fernando will take over in the afternoon.
