Tellado (PP) sees Sánchez's vacation in Morocco as a "provocation": "It would be good for him to come back accepting his defeat"

MADRID, 2 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The deputy secretary of Organization of the PP, Miguel Tellado, has considered this Wednesday a "clear provocation" the trip of the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to Morocco to spend a few days off with his family and has asked him that when he returns to Spain has assumed that it lost the elections, sits down to speak with Alberto Núñez Feijóo and does not intend to continue in Moncloa "at any price".

Tellado has criticized that Sánchez refuses to make "self-criticism" and puts "kilometres in between" after coming second in the July 23 elections.

In an interview on Onda Cero, collected by Europa Press, the 'popular' leader has assured that this attitude responds to the "arrogance" of Sánchez, who "cannot continue clinging to power as he claims", with the support of pro-independence parties.

"It would be good for him to return from Morocco accepting his electoral defeat, that you cannot be president at any price and that the time has come for the" PP and PSOE "to sit down and talk," he was summoned, after Sánchez's refusal to meet with Feijóo this week.

In this way, he has demanded that Sánchez abandon this "flight forward", assume that the PP won the elections "clearly" and speak with Feijóo.

Because for Tellado, the Socialists have ceased to be a state party that "has fallen into the arms of the independence movement" under the leadership of Sánchez. "And so it is very difficult, there is no one to talk to in the PSOE. He has gone on vacation and with the others he cannot because he does not let them," he said.
