Spain surpasses Malaysia in the 'shoot-outs' and gets into the quarterfinals

The Spanish men's field hockey team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Cup in India after beating Malaysia in the 'shoot-outs' of their round of 16 match (2-2, 4-3 in the 'shoot-outs' outs'), for which he returns to the penultimate round of a World Championship for the first time since 2014.

Spain tried to avoid the 'shoot-outs' in three penalties-corners that failed to materialize, but everything had to be resolved in the fateful shootout. In it, Mario Marín became a hero by stopping three of the shots to seal the pass to the quarterfinals, where the 'Red Sticks' will face Australia next Tuesday.
