The acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, held a telephone conversation this Sunday with General Aroldo Lázaro, head of the United Nations Mission in Lebanon, and with General Luis Jesús Fernández Herrero, in command of the Eastern Sector, to transfer the support of the Executive for its work in the country - where a Spanish contingent is deployed - after the latest events.

In a message on the social network 'X', Sánchez assured that he had conveyed to both of them the support of the Government of Spain for their work "given the seriousness of the events." "The Spanish soldiers deployed in Lebanon continue working for regional stability," he added.
