The President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has accused the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo of "negotiating amnesties and pardons" with the independentists at the same time that they held demonstrations against them and called them "terrorists", according to has stated.

Sánchez, who was speaking on this matter for the first time, has attacked Feijóo by pointing out that "in politics, as in life, when someone in private says one thing and in public says the opposite, it is called hypocrisy."

In this way, he has rejected the repeated criticism launched by the PP against him and the PSOE for agreeing on an amnesty law with the pro-independence forces in exchange for his investiture and has reiterated that the situation in Catalonia today is much better than in 2017 with the procès. .
