Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year can be requested from this Tuesday

The general call for scholarships and study aid for the 2024-2025 academic year will open next Tuesday, March 19, and applications can be made until May 10 through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.

Since the call opens, students who are going to study Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Artistic, Sports, language or university studies, among others, will be able to apply for their scholarship.

As in the previous call, they must complete a series of provisional data, which they can modify later, and they must do so even if they do not yet know the grades they will obtain this course, what they are going to study in the next one or whether or not they are going to continue with their training.

The main novelty of this call is the 5% increase in the income thresholds, which will allow more students to access a scholarship. This is in addition to the improvements incorporated in previous courses such as the increase from 1,600 to 2,500 euros in residency scholarships.

In the coming weeks, the dates for the call for aid for students with a specific need for educational support will also be announced. The main novelty, in this case, is the reduction of the percentage of disability that must be proven to request this aid, which goes from 33% to 25%.

This year's scholarship call has a budget of 2,535 million euros, similar to that of the previous year due to the extension of the General State Budgets, and will benefit nearly one million students who will be able to obtain a scholarship that will allow them continue with your studies.
