As previously reported by 'The New York Times', some information in the documents has been modified before being published, such as the United States estimates on the number of Ukrainians killed during the conflict, as well as Russian casualties, which according to analysts The military consulted by the newspaper could show an attempt by Moscow to spread disinformation to boost Russian morale at the front.

The newspaper has also detailed that the photographed documents, which would be at least six, are from five weeks ago, so the information would be outdated and, although they do not reveal the strategy for a possible Ukrainian counteroffensive, they do mention that Kiev is gathering brigades combat for this purpose.
