Ronaldo, on racist insults to Vinícius: "It is regrettable, repugnant, shameful and inadmissible"

MADRID, 4 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Real Valladolid, Ronaldo Nazário de Lima, has condemned the racist insults that Real Madrid striker Vinícius received on December 30 during the LaLiga Santander match between Pucelanos and Real Madrid, and has assured that the club will "collaborate in the investigation" to locate the individuals who uttered the screams.

"Unfortunate, disgusting, shameful, inadmissible. Racists and xenophobes do not represent us. Vinícius, all my support, respect and affection," said the 46-year-old former soccer player on his official account on the social network Twitter.

In addition, he assured that they will try to locate the culprits of said acts. "Real Valladolid is available to the authorities to collaborate in the investigation so that those responsible are removed from the club. We are not going to allow racist insults in our entity because our fans are not like that and these people do not represent us," he said.

This Tuesday, LaLiga filed complaints with the judicial, administrative and sports bodies for the racist insults uttered against Vinícius in the duel last Friday (0-2) at Nuevo Zorrilla. The employer filed a criminal complaint for hate crimes before the Investigating Courts of Valladolid, accompanied by the audiovisual evidence collected in the investigation that has been carried out through images and sounds published in open sources.

Subsequently, the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) opened an "extraordinary disciplinary procedure" against Real Valladolid for the events that occurred.
