The third vice-president and minister for Ecological and Demographic Transition, Teresa Ribera, has ensured that she follows the evolution of the flow of plastic pellets on the Galician coast and has offered the Xunta the "collaboration and assistance that she considers necessary".

The spill, coming from containers of the merchant 'Tocano' lost while sailing in Portuguese waters, has flooded several areas of the Galician coast.
