Puig believes that the amnesty agreement "has not been finalized" but considers it "as a way to a solution"

MADRID, 28 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The general secretary of the PSPV-PSOE, Ximo Puig, believes that the agreement for the amnesty law "has not been finalized", but considers it "a way of solution" for "the situation in Catalonia", when asked about its inclusion in the Federal Committee of the PSOE that is held this Saturday in Madrid.

"What corresponds to the PSOE and the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, is to achieve that majority that the citizens have decided and for that is dialogue, transaction, transfer, because that is parliamentary policy," he declared. to the media.

Furthermore, he highlighted that "at this moment, fortunately, the situation in Catalonia and its relationship with Spain is much better than how the right left it."

Regarding the PSOE-Sumar pact, he has been in favor of this agreement, because "among other things it recognizes some issues that are fundamental for us, such as regional underfinancing and also the necessary investments for the Mediterranean corridor."

This Saturday, Sánchez is going to present his position on the agreements with the pro-independence parties that he needs to carry out his investiture, in the party's Federal Committee.

The Federal Committee, the most important body of the party between Congresses, will approve a consultation with the militancy to endorse the pacts with several parliamentary groups, including Junts and ERC, necessary to achieve a majority and which require approval of this measure.
