Page marks distance with the "unhinged" Madrid politician: "Neither Paco Núñez is Núñez Feijóo nor am I Pedro Sánchez"

He will present a thousand measures of the electoral program, "autonomous" from the PSOE, something that "Núñez cannot say": "If he loses, he packs his bags"

TOLEDO, 12 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has wanted to mark distances in the face of the next regional elections between the "unhinged" policy that is carried out in Madrid with a national overtone and the one that has to be carried out in the Autonomous Community.

In an informative breakfast organized by Encastillalamancha.es, he thus made reference to the argument that other parties - alluding to the PP - "try to sneak" into the pre-election discourse by insisting on putting the national filter.

Thus, there will be, he said, "a lot of camouflage operations", which would translate into "a frustration for the region" and for the electorate, who should not "make mistakes about what is being decided."

"The same thing happens to Paco Núñez and me; his name is Paco Núñez and his boss is Nuñez Feijóo; and my last name is García-Page Sánchez and the President of the Government is called Pedro Sánchez. We both share the last name with the one above, but Neither one is Alberto nor the other is Pedro. This is important that people know, even in a humorous tone", he indicated.

As he has said, "the people of the land would be deceived if it were said that the economy or the livestock of the region depend on the bickering of a deranged policy in Madrid."

He has calculated at this point that his electoral program will have "more than a thousand proposals", something that after eight years in government is "intending to throw the stone as far as possible." In this program "everyone has to be involved", García-Page has requested.

Some intentions for which he presents himself as "autonomous" in the region to make decisions outside the structure of his party.

"I can say that I am autonomous with respect to whoever is in Madrid, be it from the PP or the PSOE. Autonomous is not going it alone, it means that if they pay me to defend this, I am going to dedicate myself to this, understanding that defending the autonomous community is to defend the constitutional model", he pointed out.

Regarding the commitment to his land, he has indicated that his is more intense than that of his main rival: "Here some, if they do not get the result, pack the suitcase the next day."

He indicated this point in reference to Núñez. "He plays desperate, because it's all or nothing. We already know what happened to Pablo Casado. I can say that my commitment is to the land."

He has admitted in this part of his speech that either he wins with an absolute majority or he will not be able to govern. "We played with the marked cards that Cospedal left", he has indicated in reference to the electoral law of 33 deputies that governs the city.

A law that "with consensus will have to be changed", because "it is not good enough for majorities or minorities, since thousands of votes that are not represented are left out."

Without leaving the notes on the electoral law and the call for elections, he has also taken the opportunity to criticize "some candidates" --that of CS, Carmen Picazo; and that of Vox, David Moreno--; that they present themselves to "mayors of their town and to the regional president", something that "generates a level of fraud" and represents "a consented deception that does not seem reasonable".

During the informative breakfast, García-Page has exhibited the high level of agreements with social agents during his eight years in office, which has resulted, for example, in not increasing the tax burden.

In fact, he has said that the region is the second with the lowest tax burden, "practically tied with Madrid", Castilla-La Mancha being a region "very mistreated by state financing".

However, he has assured that his intention is to maintain that level of low tax pressure if he continues to lead the autonomous government. Of course, he does not renounce collecting taxes, "that must be paid and that they are decisive."

As one of the regions "worst treated from a financial point of view", it is now time to "fight where it must be fought before the Castilian-Manchegos have to pay" that low economic endowment from the State.

For the regional president, Castilla-La Mancha "can boast that in 40 years, many of the things that have been done have set the standard and school in the whole of Spain."

"People don't know it, but part of our secret, in the La Mancha style, is that things go well. It's about going well without having to appear on the front pages of the newspapers," he pointed out.

Now, he has said that the region is in a position "not only to continue to lead in Dependency, in spending on Primary Care --up to 30% of total health spending--; but to be the first in job creation, installation of companies and foreign investment", has certified.

García-Page has also revealed that one of the great problems of the region involves its territorial extension, although he has added that a balance has been reached in which the benefit of having "so much territory" has been taken advantage of.

Thus, he has affirmed that his Government has turned the region into a "huge power", at which point he has advanced that there will only be one condition for the establishment of new plants and that is that they go with a report that guarantees that they will have sufficient power as for the "most powerful" companies can be installed.

In addition, autonomy and vocation, García-Page has highlighted that his Government has offered stability in this legislature, which he has affirmed that it is "very noticeable" in that the regulations are not contradictory, in that you can see the end of a project started or in the climate of understanding with the social agents.

That is why he has advanced that next week his Government will allocate five million euros to make the work of the unemployed who have left employment plans "more permanent" or to favor permanent work in small and medium-sized companies. companies.

However, he has abounded in the "optimistic vision" he has of the region. "We are going to be able to comply with what I said four years ago despite Putin and the Covid, and that reinforces my conviction that if with everything that is falling we are capable of moving forward by complying with what we have said, there are conditions of say that the future project will be achievable as well", he added.

A project for the future of which the regional president has advanced some measure that he will carry out to repeat his mandate, such as making the first year of university studied in the Autonomous Community free, something that, he has affirmed, "is not throwing the house out of the window because " We have the accounts done."

Like more announcements for the electoral campaign, he has spoken of his intention to legislate the maximum waiting times in health matters, an area in which he has also made reference to mental health.
