Page considers the Amnesty Law to be "blackmail"

He believes that Illa (PSC) "is a very clean person", regarding her possible involvement in the 'Koldo case'

BARCELONA, 23 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has considered that the Amnesty Law is "blackmail" since, according to him, those affected not only vote for their own pardon, but also write it.

"It's unfortunate, and it's going to take its toll," Page responded when asked about the approval of the grace measure, in an interview published this Saturday in 'La Vanguardia' and collected by Europa Press.

Regarding the proposal for unique financing for Catalonia, the president has assured that it is not presented as an aspiration to obtain more financing, but as a key step for independence, and has criticized that the objective of this proposal is "to break up the country." .

"It started out called Koldo and I am not at all sure that it will end with the same name," Page said about the case regarding the alleged plot that would have paid commissions to obtain awards for the sale of masks in the pandemic.

Regarding the possible involvement of the PSC candidate in the Catalan elections, Salvador Illa, he stated that "he is a very clean person" who represents the Catalan 'seny'.

He has also criticized that "they are going to try" to involve Illa in the plot to affect his electoral campaign.
