Ossorio will be president of the Madrid Assembly, Lasquetty decides not to repeat and López leaves the Ayuso government

MADRID, 12 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Enrique Ossorio will be the new president of the Madrid Assembly once it is constituted, Javier Fernández-Lasquetty has decided of his own free will not to repeat as a counselor in the government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, while Enrique López will leave the regional Executive this Wednesday.

Ossorio, number 3 of the candidacy with which Ayuso has obtained an absolute majority with up to 71 deputies, will resign on Tuesday as vice president and Minister of Education after being appointed president of the Madrid Assembly, regional sources have advanced.

Enrique Ossorio is a person of the highest confidence of Díaz Ayuso since they became friends when the future president of the Assembly served as spokesman for the PP in the Vallecas Chamber and the current acting president was his deputy. That connection has been maintained over the years: Ossorio has always shown that fidelity, both in the battle within the party and in the worst moments of the Executive.

Javier Fernández-Lasquetty, number 5 on the regional list with which the PP attended the 28M, will not repeat as Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment of his own free will. This Wednesday he will assume the acting vice-presidency of the government, as well as the Ministry of the Presidency, that of Education and that of the Economy.

Lasquetty will be acting vice president until the appointment of the new government, on June 26, which will be characterized by being smaller, with a strong renewal and with a clearly executive imprint, Isabel Díaz Ayuso has already advanced. Fernández-Lasquetty will become until then the counselor who has ever had the most powers, the same sources have highlighted.

Finally, the head of Justice and the Interior, Enrique López, will leave the acting government this Wednesday, also at his own request, to resume his career as a magistrate.
