One of the perpetrators involved in the attack against Vidal-Quadras is arrested in Colombia

MADRID, 17 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Colombian Police have arrested one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack against Alejo Vidal-Quadras, a Venezuelan citizen with an international search warrant.

According to 'El Confidencial' and police sources confirm to Europa Press, the detainee is G. O. Higuera, who had a search warrant for a terrorism crime in Spain.

The National Court sent a detainee in Lanjarón (Granada) to prison for attempted terrorist murder and released his partner, of British origin, and a third detainee in Fuengirola (Málaga) with precautionary measures.

The investigations then focused on finding the whereabouts of the perpetrator of the shooting on a street in Madrid on November 9, Mehrez Ayari, 37, a Frenchman of Tunisian origin with multiple records in France, his country of residence.

The investigation indirectly indicated the involvement of at least two other people, including the Venezuelan arrested when trying to enter Colombia.

From Migrations of Colombia it was reported on social networks that a Venezuelan "detected when he tried to enter the country with a red alert from Interpol for terrorism and is requested by the Spanish authorities" had been placed at the disposal of the Police of this country.
