Berlin will host the 2024 edition

MADRID, 19 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The 'Final Four' of the Euroleague in 2023 will take place from May 19 to 21 in Kaunas (Lithuania), while Berlin (Germany) will host the 2024 edition, as confirmed by the competition on Monday in a statement.

The Zalgiris Arena will host the four best teams in this season's competition, who will play the semifinals on Friday, May 19. The games for third place and the title will be played on Sunday, May 21.

It will be the first Final Four to be held in Lithuania, after Kaunas has been "for a long time a candidate to host the 'F4'". "Now the devoted Lithuanian fans of the EuroLeague will finally have the opportunity to enjoy the most prestigious pan-European basketball event at home," the competition celebrated.

Tickets for the 'Final Four' will go on sale on January 17 through the website www.f4tickets.com. There will be seven different price categories for general public tickets, all of which seat four games (Semifinal Doubleheader on May 19, Third Place Game and Championship Doubleheader on May 21), ranging from 56.25 euros/game (225 euros in total) and 128.75 euros/game (515 euros in total).

Season ticket holders of EuroLeague clubs participating in the pre-sale programme, 'EuroLeagueTV' subscribers and former 'Final Four' ticket buyers will be able to purchase tickets before the public sale, from January 16 to 17 , using a special code.

"We are delighted to welcome Kaunas to the list of cities that will host a 'Final Four'. In just six months, the best teams in Europe will play for the crown in front of one of the most passionate crowds, as Lithuania is synonymous with basketball", declared the president of the Euroleague, Dejan Bodiroga, in statements published by the competition itself.

Finally, the leader wanted to thank Kaunas and the Zlagiris team for their "commitment and interest" in hosting the 'F4'. "Together we will certainly offer one more unforgettable memory to all our fans," he concluded.
