Junts agrees with the Government to abstain from the decrees in exchange for repealing the article that delays the amnesty

He says that the PSOE also agrees to modify the law to facilitate the return of companies to Catalonia and the transfer of immigration policy

Junts claims to have agreed with the PSOE to abstain from government decrees in exchange for the suppression of article 43bis of the Civil Procedure Law, which in its opinion jeopardized the amnesty.

The party led by Carles Puigdemont had announced its vote against the three decrees of the coalition Government, but its deputies did not participate in the vote, which has allowed the measures on Justice and Public Service that they had questioned to go forward. And while waiting for the repetition of the votes that had ended in a tie, Junts has announced that agreement with the PSOE to abstain.

As explained by the independence party, the agreement also includes the promise to reform the capital companies law to reverse the royal decree of the PP in 2017 in order to facilitate the return of companies to Catalonia through the 'procés'. An agreement that comes after the Catalan party contemplated this week the possibility of "sanctioning" those companies that did not return.

Likewise, he claims to have the Government's commitment to the comprehensive delegation of immigration powers to the Generalitat, the immediate publication of fiscal balances and that oil becomes an essential food with a VAT of 0%.

Specifically, the comprehensive delegation of immigration powers, as they explain, would occur through article 150.2 of the Spanish Constitution through a specific organic law for Catalonia.

A delegation that according to Junts will be accompanied by the necessary resources and will allow Catalonia to make a comprehensive policy, so that it is the Catalan Parliament who determines its own policy.

From the independence party they assure that the pact reached with the PSOE also includes quintupling the money planned for the digitalization of the administration of justice in Catalonia, which would go from 1.2 million euros to 6.2 million.

In addition, the State will assume the entire cost of discounts and bonuses on public transport prices and also recognizes the historical rights of Catalonia in terms of local regime.
