Illegalize pro-independence parties, abolish regional police forces and remove powers from the CCAA, Vox proposals

They aspire to eliminate the Constitutional Court and for a new Chamber of the Supreme Court to assume its functions

MADRID, 7 (EUROPA PRESS) - Illegalizing pro-independence parties, suppressing regional police forces, reinforcing the military presence in the Basque Country and Catalonia, and removing powers and "privileges" from the autonomous communities are some of the proposals that Vox includes in its electoral program to the elections on July 23.

As they explain, their objective is to "outlaw political parties, associations or organizations of any kind that seek to destroy the territorial unity of the Nation and its sovereignty", and, from the outset, they promise a referendum so that the Spanish can rule on it.

Likewise, they will seek to "reintroduce the crimes of illegal referendum, sedition, treason and embezzlement of public funds, increasing the penalties in accordance with the principle of proportionality as they are serious crimes against Spain, its unity and sovereignty and the heritage of all Spaniards".

The party also wants the powers in Education, Health, Security and Justice that have been transferred to the communities in recent years to be returned to the State, as well as to limit "as much as possible" the autonomous legislative capacity.

In the same way, they undertake to "suppress all legal and fiscal privileges protected by supposed "historical rights" that cause inequality between territories", and they promise to "immediately suspend the autonomy of those communities whose governments use resources and instruments of regional self-government to attempt against the unity of Spain".

In addition, it is proposed to progressively eliminate the regional police forces so that their agents become part of the Police and the Civil Guard. "Until it becomes effective, real salary equality between the National Police Corps, Civil Guard and regional police will be guaranteed," they add.

Likewise, they plan to "ensure and make visible the presence of the civil and military Administration of the State at the service of the Spanish in all the territories of the nation, especially in those where the separatist governments have tried to erase Spain, given the inaction of the governments previous nationals".

In terms of national symbols, Vox intends to grant the maximum legal protection to the Flag, the Anthem and the Crown, aggravating the penalties so that no affront to them goes unpunished, and they advocate "repealing all the laws that the Sánchez government has approved or maintained and encourage confrontation and division between Spaniards, such as the Democratic Memory Law or the LGTBI Law", and for protecting "national identity", disseminating "the deeds and feats of our national heroes inside and outside our borders" .

As it has defended in Congress, Vox advocates suppressing subsidies to parties, unions and employers because, according to the electoral program collected by Europa Press, "there will be no real equality between Spaniards as long as a privileged caste lives off the effort of the Spanish to foot".

CITIZEN DEFENSE AGAINST Squatters

The formation led by Santiago Abascal also proclaims its "zero tolerance for illegal occupation" and promises legal reforms to protect those who suffer the action of the occupation mafias or the illegal entry of a squatter into their home. "Every Spaniard must have the ability to defend himself and his loved ones against an attack in his own home," he remarked.

In the same sense, they will promote a personalized follow-up of the 'squats' and will exempt the owners of illegally occupied properties from paying the IBI during the period of illegal occupation of the property.

Another proposal is "to demand the imposition of tariffs on agricultural products from Morocco so that they do not affect the national and European markets to the detriment of Spanish products."

THREE MONTHS TO RESOLVE UNCONSTITUTIONAL APPEALS

In terms of Justice, in addition to prohibiting pardons for crimes related to corruption, the political form of the State or territorial integrity, Vox wants to set a maximum period of three months for the Constitutional Court to resolve its appeals. In any case, its final objective is to put an end to this court and for its functions to be carried out by a new Sixth Chamber of the Supreme Court.

They also plan to modify the election system for the members of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) so that all its members are appointed or proposed by the judges and magistrates themselves, "without interference from politicized parties or associations."

They advocate abolishing special prosecutors such as the one for Democratic Memory and the one for Hate Crimes and Discrimination and for promoting a Law of memory, dignity and justice for the victims of terrorism that prevents tributes to terrorists and attacks on the institutions and symbols of Spain. In parallel, they will promote the investigation of ETA's crimes and that their crimes are considered crimes against humanity so that they do not prescribe.

The repeal of "all 'historical memory' legislation" and the approval of a Concord Law that encourages "meeting and reconciliation" are also on the agenda.

RECOVER GIBRALTAR

Those of Abascal consider it necessary to prioritize the Constitution over community law and reform the Euroorder so that individuals with pending criminal cases in Spain benefit from the protection of European organizations. They also advocate a new European treaty that restores the leading role to the Member States in the face of the "bureaucracy" of the Commission and intends to demand from the European Union "a firm commitment to the legitimate Spanish aspiration to recover Gibraltar".

Other of its commitments are to promote "diplomatic measures" to prevent the "nations of the Iberosphere from regressing in the regime of freedoms typical of free and sovereign nations", involve the EU in this task, demand the release of all political prisoners in Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Cuba, review the international cooperation policy so that Spain does not contribute indirectly "to the maintenance of authoritarian regimes" and "combat attempts to erase the Spanish legacy in America."
