MADRID, 14 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The national leadership of the PP has accused this Wednesday the PSOE of "working" so that the independence movement of the Galician Nationalist Bloc (BNG) governs Galicia, which "proposes a Galician-style 'procés'" and "aspires to eliminate Castilian from the classrooms", according to party sources, who have appealed to moderate socialist voters ahead of the elections on February 18. In his opinion, "this is no longer an electoral fight between blocs: it is Spain yes or Spain no."

Five days before the regional elections, with polls showing the rise of the BNG candidate, Ana Pontón, the 'popular' have denounced that the "electoral machinery" of the PSOE, "a party with 140 years of history", has "at the service of an independence formation."

"The PSOE has already handed over Pamplona to Bildu, but now it is working so that the Galician independence movement governs in Galicia. And it does so with its own human and economic resources. It has never gone this far," sources from the party have assured.

The leadership of the PP has gone on the attack against the PSOE after several days of confusion and tension in the ranks of the party due to the controversy that opened this weekend when the media reported that the PP recognized that it had studied the possibility of an amnesty during " 24 hours", was open to a conditional pardon for Carles Puigdemont and recognized that it was difficult to prove the accusation of terrorism in the case of the former Catalan president.

'Génova', which echoes information such as that published by 'El Mundo' in which the PSOE team recognizes that "what matters is joining" with the BNG, points out that the socialists no longer aspire for "the independence movement "he will rise to power despite losing the elections, as happened at the national level with Pedro Sánchez" but that "the President of the Government now finds it better if his party is the one who supports the independence movement."

In this sense, sources from the top of the PP have indicated that the PSOE "plans to give its votes to the BNG, a formation that aspires to eliminate Castilian from classrooms in Galicia and to propose a 'process' in Galician".

"Of the three historical communities defined by the Constitution, the only one that does not have a pro-independence government is Galicia. Sánchez wants that to change," the same sources have denounced.

For this reason, the PP asks to unite around the PP those Galicians who "do not feel independent, who feel Galician and Spanish, and who want to protect Galicia from the instability of Spanish politics and the eccentricities of the independence movement."

"We will appeal to the moderate voters of the PSOE and those of other parties who understand that the only alternative to the PPdeG is a Government like that of Catalonia. This is no longer an electoral fight between blocs: it is Spain yes or Spain no," sources have indicated. popular'.

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has dedicated his last electoral acts to appealing to those moderate socialist voters and has also accused the PSOE of "working" to give the presidency of the Xunta to the BNG, as he did last night at a rally in Padrón (A Coruña).

This Wednesday, after predicting that the PSdeG is going to have "the worst result in its history" in Galicia, Feijóo accused the Socialist Party of "betraying" its voters: "all its former leaders are against the policy of the Socialist Party current".

Likewise, Feijóo stressed this Tuesday that "a vote for the PSOE is a vote for the BNG" and wondered if socialist voters really agree with governing with a party that wants "self-determination" and that is against the unity of the country.
