Five young people arrested accused of group sexual abuse of two minors in Los Villares (Jaén)

A Jaén court is investigating alleged group sexual abuse of two minors in Los Villares for which five young people have been arrested, and for one of them, 16 years old, it has been agreed to confinement in a center for juvenile offenders, according to reports. informed the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).

The events occurred in the early hours of January 27 to 28, around 0:30 a.m., in an industrial area where drinking parties are usually held, as indicated by the Civil Guard to Europa Press after the complaint filed by one of the minors.

This complaint, which was echoed by local media, was not filed immediately, but rather at the beginning of this week when one of the two minors, aged 15, reported the events accompanied by her parents.

The agents began the investigations and identified and arrested five young people, four residents of Los Villares and one from the capital of Jaén. For one of them, 16 years old, it has been agreed as a precautionary measure that he be admitted to a center for juvenile offenders.

For their part, the four adults have been released and are being investigated as alleged perpetrators of a crime of sexual abuse, as specified by the TSJA. In addition, the court has imposed a restraining order and prohibition of communication with the two minors.

One of the minors, according to what judicial sources have pointed out to Europa Press, stated that she had been the victim of different touching of a sexual nature inside a vehicle parked in the bottle area. The young people investigated have initially maintained that everything was due to "a prank" that lasted "seconds" and that consisted of putting the minor through the car window and taking her out through another of the windows.

From the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) it has been detailed that the Court of Instruction number 1 of Jaén, acting as a Guard Court, agreed this Wednesday to the provisional release of the four men detained for the commission of an alleged crime of sexual abuse.

The provisional release order has imposed a restraining order on the four detainees regarding the minor and a prohibition on communication. The case will be investigated by the Investigative Court number 4 of Jaén, which is the one that was on duty when the events took place over the weekend.

It so happens that one of the adults arrested for allegedly abusing these two minors has been reported by another woman for an alleged sexual assault with penetration that occurred approximately a year ago in the same town of Los Villares. The woman appeared at the Police Court earlier this week and reported the events that occurred a year ago.

The alleged sexual aggressor was also questioned in court in relation to this case, after which the judge on duty agreed to his provisional release with the precautionary measures of removing the woman allegedly attacked and prohibiting communication with her.

This second procedure has already been sent by the Court of Guard to the Dean of the Courts of Jaén for distribution to the court that is responsible for its investigation.

The Civil Guard continues with the investigations to clarify what happened and check if there may be more cases that have not been reported at the moment.
