Feijóo celebrates the seat won in Madrid with the CERA vote: "16 seats more than the next force"

The leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has celebrated the seat won in Madrid with the recount of the CERA vote, so that the popular ones obtain 137 seats in the Congress of Deputies, compared to 121 for the PSOE.

"Thanks to all the Spaniards abroad who want a government of moderation and a sense of State", he pointed out in his social media account, in which he also pointed out the distance with the PSOE at the polls: "16 seats more than the next force."

In addition, Feijóo wanted to highlight the popular ones as "the most voted party". "We work to fulfill the mandate of the polls," he added.

The popular ones have been the party with the most votes in the Community of Madrid in voters residing abroad with 19,006 ballots, achieving almost double the support of the PSOE, which achieved 10,411, while Sumar prevailed over Vox.

This is how it appears in the minutes of the scrutiny of the 44,833 ballots for the CERA vote, to which Europa Press has had access. The recount concluded this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. by the Provincial Electoral Board of Madrid and 583 invalid votes and 286 blank votes have been identified.
