Feijóo advances his decalogue if he governs: less taxes, recover sedition and review the laws approved with Bildu

He says that if the fight for equality and against gender violence governs, it will be a "transversal policy", far from partisanship

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has advanced this Monday a decalogue with the first measures that he will approve if he arrives at the Moncloa Palace: lower the personal income tax to medium and low incomes, call the social agents to set the objectives of the legislature and convene a Conference of Presidents. In addition, it has indicated that it will convert the fight against gender violence into a transversal policy, will approve a new Organic Law of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), and will review "one by one" the laws and measures "in which the vote de Bildu" has been "decisive".

"Bildu's vote is not going to be of any use in our country, unless it conforms to the Constitution", Feijóo has proclaimed, to emphasize the evolution of Pedro Sánchez's relationship with Bildu, who has passed the pact " secretly" to "praise", as in his opinion, the Government delegate in Madrid, Francisco Martín, revealed last week, stressing that the nationalist group has saved many lives.

This was stated at an informative breakfast organized by the Nueva Economía Forum, which was attended by the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the candidates to preside over the region of Murcia and La Rioja, Fernando López Miras and Gonzalo Capellán , respectively. A large part of the national leadership of the PP and the mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez Almeida, among others, were also present.

After emphasizing that the change does not consist of a change from one government to another but of a "detestable policy for a decent policy", Feijóo has shown himself convinced that there is a social majority of Spaniards willing to "push the change" before a Sánchez , which offers "four more years of the same".

"It does not offer a rectification of what it did, but rather an increased continuity, with four more years of the same," he emphasized, to reiterate that his objective is to achieve a sufficient majority to govern alone, without depending on Vox.

Feijóo, who has presented himself as a predictable and moderate person, has considered "the change started" after the results of 28M, in which the PP has considerably increased its municipal power. "We have shown the Spaniards that there is another way of doing politics", he added, adding that the PP has embarked on "the best path for our country to recover centrality and break once and for all with the politics of blocs".

Immediately afterwards, Feijóo has specified the decalogue of his first 100 days if he governs: in the first place, he has said that the Spanish will pay "less for their governments and for the entire court that surrounds the Government", which will be "smaller than the current ". Secondly, he has made it clear that citizens will know from the beginning "the situation of their country" because he will tell them how the accounts are.

Thirdly, it has indicated that "they will pay less taxes by 2023" because personal income tax will be lowered for medium and low incomes. Fourthly, he has indicated that he will recover the crime of sedition and increase the penalties for corruption."

In addition, after more than three and a half years with the current mandate of the CGPJ blocked, Feijóo has highlighted that in the first 100 days he will submit to the Congress of Deputies an Organic Law of the CGPJ to guarantee the independence of the Council and of judges, magistrates and prosecutors .

"NOR A STEP BACK IN THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY"

Within this decalogue, the leader of the Popular Party has indicated that the fight for equality and against gender violence will be a "transversal policy", "far from any partisan attempt by anyone."

A few days after the pact that PP and Vox have closed in the Valencian Community, with intra-family violence at the center of the debate, Feijóo has warned "left and right" that the Popular Party will not take a step back in the fight for the equality and against sexist violence".

"Let no one expect us to take a step back in the fight for equality and against gender violence. It will not occur to me to deny it or make laws that leave women unprotected and repeal the laws that the PP has made," he said. , to remember that the current Government has approved laws such as the 'only yes is yes' law that has allowed the reduction of sentences for more than a thousand sexual offenders.

"WHILE OTHERS PRAISE BILDU, WE SHUT DOWN"

It has also advanced that it will review "one by one the laws and measures in which Bildu's vote is decisive." "While others praise Bildu, we will block his way; while others support the independence movement, we do not; while others do anything and at whatever price to resist, we do whatever it takes to improve Spain," he proclaimed.

Feijóo has rejected that the Spanish have to thank Bildu for the lives saved, alluding to the words of the Government delegate in Madrid. "It is not true. They have done a great service to Sánchez, but not to the Spanish," he proclaimed.

In addition, he has confirmed that if he governs, he will call on the social agents to set the objectives of the legislature in the field of social dialogue, at the same time that he has guaranteed that the Spanish Presidency will be a matter of State, that he will not "hide" the leader of the opposition.

CONFERENCE OF PRESIDENTS TO TALK ABOUT EUROPEAN FUNDS

Likewise, he has indicated that another of his actions upon arriving in Moncloa will be to convene a Conference of Presidents to set the work schedule for essential issues, such as European funds, water policy or regional financing.

In the case of European funds, it has promised to execute them rigorously if it governs, seeking the competitiveness of our economy and defending the general interest, in coordination with the autonomous communities, which the Sánchez Executive has left on the sidelines, according to has said.

In addition, Feijóo has confessed that it has "hurt" him and believes that "it is not fair" for the Executive to maintain that "European funds are in danger if the Popular Party wins" after the trajectory of its formation. "It is not acceptable", he has proclaimed himself.

When asked about the information from OK Diario about Son Blanc, the Menorcan town of Cuitadella where Vice President Teresa Ribera has her summer home, will receive aid from the Government of the tourism sustainability plan amounting to 4.2 million European funds , Feijóo has indicated that if that is yes, "an explanation will have to be given." "I hope and wish that we can find out about this explanation throughout the morning," she added.

IN THE 28M, THE SOCIAL MAJORITY "HAS SAID ENOUGH"

The president of the PP considers that political change in Spain has ceased to be a mere hope or a remote expectation, to become a real and close possibility. In his understanding, the municipal and regional ones reflect the social majority that "has said enough is enough" because the Spanish have begun to see in their "misgovernment and in their president the greatest evil."

"There was a silent majority that was waiting for the first opportunity to demonstrate at the polls, and it has done so eloquently," he stated, adding that the Spanish are "fed up with factions, insults, attacks, lies and polarization ".

In addition, he has valued the decisions that the PP has taken in cities such as Barcelona or Vitoria, where, as he has said, the party has made the "sense of State" prevail, without asking for anything in return. "Another policy is possible. The trenches are no longer useful, sanchismo dug them, but reality ends them. The PP has left the block policy and will continue to be the party of the bridges," he said.
