The Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has won his tenth Australian Open this Sunday, the first 'Grand Slam' of the season, after beating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final in three sets (6-3, 7-6 (4), 7 -6(5)), which allows him to rise to number one in the world, raise the 'big' number 22 of his sports career and match the Spanish Rafa Nadal.

The Balkan, who went to his favorite contest as number five in the ATP ranking, needed two hours and 56 minutes to defeat the Hellenic tennis player again in a 'big' final, as happened at Roland Garros 2021 -where he managed to come back from 0 -2 in sets-, and to sneak back into the Olympus of world men's tennis.

By taking over from Nadal, champion in Melbourne in 2022, Djokovic was able to match the 22 'Grand Slam' titles of the Balearic Islands, all after raising his tenth win at the Rod Laver Arena (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 , 2019, 2022, 2021 and 2023).
