Díaz warns that we must "comply" with the government agreement and maintain the tax on banking and energy

A CORUÑA, Dec. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The second vice president of the Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, has warned her government partners that they must "comply" with the agreement signed and, therefore, maintain the taxes on banks and energy companies, because "the circumstances have not changed" and they continue to "cover up".

In her speech at the official presentation of the promoter of Sumar Galicia, Yolanda Díaz has also appealed to her efforts to raise the minimum interprofessional wage (SMI) and that she will continue to defend an increase this term: "It will cost me a lot, but I will continue defending the workers of this country."

Furthermore, during his speech, he warned that if there is "citizen disaffection" with politics it is because "people are tired of hearing one thing and when they have the opportunity to fulfill their obligations," politicians "don't do it." . "We have a clear commitment and I am a woman who complies with the agreements," said Yolanda Díaz, who has read verbatim the government agreement about special taxes.

"At Sumar we fought a lot in the government agreement so that the banking and energy companies contribute to our country," claimed Yolanda Díaz, who spoke of "unworthy amounts" and "how they are nourished with benefits that are rude."

For this reason, he rejected what "someone" in the Government defends (in a veiled reference to Nadia Calviño), and has stressed that the "circumstances have not changed", the families continue to "suffer" and that, therefore, "we must comply with the government agreement, because, otherwise, they will "disappoint" the voters.

Once again, Díaz has renewed his commitment with his "word" to reduce working hours, raise the SMI and improve dismissals, as well as stating that from other portfolios, such as Health with Mónica García, the portfolio of services will be expanded. or also culture, with Ernest Urtasun.

During her speech, the second vice president appealed on several occasions to "data", such as that of the 21.6 million Spaniards working. In this sense, he joked that he tried to give some numbers to the spokesperson of the Popular Group, Miguel Tellado, in the last control session in Congress (both are 'old' acquaintances in Galician autonomous parliamentarism) and that "he didn't last" the spokespersons, since "next week will be Cuca Gamarra".
